Programs
The Graduate School of Biostudies offers graduate programs of study leading to Master's and Doctoral degrees. To receive a Master's degree, every student is required to take at least 30 credits, to submit a thesis in the fields of specialization, and to pass a thesis examination. To cultivate a wide scope, the student is asked to take not only those subjects offered by the Division of his or her major, but also subjects offered by the other Division. A Doctoral degree requires original research at a high level in an individual field. To receive the Doctoral degree, he or she is required to gain at least 10 credits from subjects offered in the Graduate School and to pass an examination on the thesis submitted.
