2012.03.26 佐藤文彦教授が熊谷英彦京都大学名誉教授とともに、「代謝工学的研究に基づく植物二次代謝産物イソキノリンアルカロイドの 微生物による生産」（共同研究）で、第102回（平成24年）日本学士院賞を受賞することとなりました。 受賞理由等については、学士院のHPをご覧下さい。また、京都大学のHPにも紹介記事があります。
