Registration for the presentations

The international symposium committee call for abstracts for oral and poster presentations from persons: Students and postdoctoral fellows in the Graduate School of Biostudies, Institute for Virus Research and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

For other participants who are not going to present the research but to attend the symposium, the following registration is not required.

Presentation style

The oral presentation is grouped into two categories. All the participants of oral presentation sessions will receive a judge's review, so you will get some feedback pointing out improvements to your presentation, and it will be valuable for your future activities.

Long-Talk

Long-Talk is for the participants who have a substantial research progress progress and wish to improve their scientific communication skills in English. We do welcome abstract submissions from undergraduate students with high motivation. And evaluations and commendations will be given by 5 invited judges and about 8 judges selected from among teachers of the Graduate School of Biostudies.

Short-Talk

We invite participants who wish to challenge the English presentation and discussion, regardless of the research performance and grade. And evaluations and commendations will be given by 8 invited students and about 8 judges selected from among teachers of the Graduate School of Biostudies.

Poster Presentation

Any participant who meets the application requirements mentioned above is welcome. Evaluations and commendations will be given by all participants.

How to register

If you are interested doing presentation, you have to follow the two steps listed in below.

1. Check application requirements at Application requirements
2. Register your information at Registration
3. Send us an Abstract document, follow the instruction at Abstract submission
4. All presenters are requested to join Group discussion. So please register your information at Registration of Group discussion
5. There are Overnight retreat after the seminar. Please register your information at Registration of Overnight retreat to have fun!
