“Beyond your science: Borderless Biology” March 12th – 13th, 2024 at Shiran Kaikan

Welcome to the 20th Biostudies Student Symposium!

The Biostudies Student Symposium (BSS) is a platform for students to engage with distinguished professionals, fostering learning and collaboration. The slogan of this year: “Beyond your science: Borderless Biology” reflects the idea of limitless possibilities that young researchers should see in their future. After years of COVID restrictions, we see this event as a rebounding opportunity for students and faculty members.

This year’s event went through a massive rebranding, starting with the name. Our Previous name was the International Student Seminar (ISS). This annual collaborative meeting has become a good tradition and memorable experience for our graduates, and we are happy to continue this tradition further, supported by the Graduate School of Biostudies and this year, with additional support from the JSPS Core-to-Core Program. Together, we will Build our future with Strong dedication and Scientific Insights.
